I take a photo of the couple when they have signed their banns application form. I insert the photo into the form and email to the couple. This means they have a record of the day they booked their wedding – they love that and it is part of our welcome.
And, it also helps us to remember who they are, as well as helping other clergy in the team when weddings are taken by others. We don’t use the photo anywhere else unless the couple gives permission.
