Children’s and youth ministers: Recognise, support, enable
This research aims to develop and enhance support for existing employed children, young people and families ministers
IN JANUARY 2024, THE 30K PROJECT commissioned research into the well-being of employed Children’s, Young People and Families (CYPF) Ministers. Whilst there were areas we could celebrate, there were also significant areas where change is clearly needed if we are to create an environment in which CYPF ministers can grow and flourish in their roles.
Research summary
What happens now?
The findings of the survey have been very carefully considered by the 30k Project Board, and as a result, we are launching a new strand of work seeking to address the key issues which have been highlighted.
With the support of the Archbishops’ Council, the Board are commissioning a new body of work focused around:
- Recognition and value of CYPF ministers
- Support for CYPF ministers
- Developing a context which enables CYPF ministers to flourish and be fruitful
