THIS PAGE BRINGS TOGETHER GUIDANCE, practical tools and examples of evaluation reports to support monitoring and evaluation across dioceses and churches.
Guidance
The Monitoring and Evaluation guidance aims to support dioceses or partners to embed learning throughout their programmes and to help the whole church to learn together. It is designed for those who don’t have an Assurance Framework, particularly those working on new proposals.
Download and read more in the Monitoring and Evaluation guidance below:
For specific guidance about using Shared Outcome measures in monitoring and evaluation, please read About the Shared Outcomes Framework. These are designed to help support consistent and effective monitoring of programmes funded through Strategic Ministry and Mission Investment. They can also be used for other work.
Example tools
Here are some tools you can use to support monitoring and evaluation:
- A worked example of an outcomes framework for a large programme. This example includes tabs covering outcomes for individual churches, interventions, the overall diocesan programme, and learning questions, including how these will be explored throughout the programme.
- A worked example of an outcomes framework for a small project
- An example of a learning log
- An example of questions identified by working groups/programme board to support their learning
