Growing Younger: St Leonard’s Church case study

Discover how St Leonard’s Loftus in North Yorkshire went from two children in 2011 to 18 children on a Sunday

ST LEONARD’S CHURCH LOFTUS IS an Anglo-Catholic parish in North Yorkshire. It is an ordinary parish in an ordinary town, but it saw growth from just two children to nearly 20 children over the course of eight years with the addition of a Sunday School and a family mass.

Our prayer is to double the number of children and young people in the Church of England by 2030. In the parish of Loftus they have grown tenfold.
