Grounded: A new apprenticeship in youth ministry

GROUNDED, A NEW TWO-YEAR Youth Ministry apprenticeship delivered by Church Army, is now open for applications, with the first cohort beginning in January 2027.

This fully-funded programme is available to employed Youth Ministers and offers a fantastic opportunity to grow in confidence, skills, and faith whilst in paid employment. Participants will work towards a Level three Youth Support Worker Apprenticeship, gaining recognised training and practical experience along the way. There are no formal entry requirements, and the programme is designed to be accessible and flexible, supporting a variety of learning styles.

Grounded provides Youth Ministers with a rich opportunity for professional and spiritual development. It is also a valuable benefit to highlight when recruiting for Youth Minister roles.
