A flourishing ministry with Hong Kongers
A partnership between a church in the Diocese of Oxford and its local community of Christian Hong Kongers, supported by national church funding
TRINITY CHURCH EARLEY IS HOME to a flourishing ministry for Hong Kongers that have recently moved to call Reading home. Supported by Strategic Development Funding through the Diocese of Oxford’s Growing New Congregations programme and funding from the Racial Justice Unit, the church employs a Cantonese-speaking ordained minister to manage the busy calendar of services and fellowship groups in which 300 people gather to worship. Having outgrown the building, the church has planted a congregation in a nearby parish, which is already 200 in number, and is in the process of planting a further two congregations.
