A Strategic Development Funding programme supporting growing churches across Birmingham
CHURCH OF ENGLAND BIRMINGHAM’S VISION is to see growing churches at the heart of every community. It is shaped by four priorities: parish growth, leadership, church planting and revitalisation, and sustainability.
This video series shares the stories of six projects developed by local churches in response to that vision. From a leadership development programme and mission apprenticeships to church revitalisation, youth ministry training and partnerships with local schools, each project reflects a different way of helping people encounter Jesus, grow as disciples and establish a model for future church growth.
These programmes were made possible through the dedication of churches, volunteers and leaders, alongside investment from the national church’s Strategic Development Funding, which supported Church of England Birmingham’s Growing Churches strategy.
