Funeral reflection for home use

Being unable to attend a funeral is a very difficult experience for people

MANY PEOPLE WHO ARE UNABLE to attend a funeral will feel additional grief, especially if they could not say goodbye properly. This simple reflection can be emailed or posted to those who can’t attend a funeral, and then used at home on the day.

Let people know the date and time to use the reflection, so they know others will be doing the same. It won’t ever replace the comfort of actually being there, but it may go some way to help mourners feel connected.

If you have the person’s details, you can send the reflection directly, or, the family of the person who died could send it.

There are three versions:

  • an emailable PDF in full colour
  • a full colour PDF with crop marks for the printer – this is in case there are a lot of people who can’t attend and the family wishes to mail them out in the post
  • a PDF in black and white that’s easy to print off at home. It is in slightly larger print too.
