“I could use that experience to help other people” – Estates Churches: Teardrops

Jill’s personal experience of grief helped her to start a group for others dealing with grief

WORKING IN PARISHES ON THE edge of the Diocese of York, Stepping Up is a year-long programme of nurture and development for lay people from our Low-Income Communities, to grow in their own faith and discipleship and in confidence for mission. At the end, each person steps up in mission using their gifts and lived experience to share God’s love in their local community.

Jill is using her own experience of grief to help others as they come to terms with loss in their life. ‘Teardrops’ is a space for anyone, no matter what their belief, to chat and share memories, and company.
