Resourcing the Church? Reflecting on research on Resource Churches
Wednesday 19th November, 3pm
Find out what lessons have been learnt from research findings on resource churches
THERE ARE CURRENTLY 130 RESOURCE churches in the Church of England, seeking to plant and revitalise churches.
What role might resource churches play in the wider church? Has the introduction of resource churches been successful? And what have we learnt?
Join us for a free webinar on Tuesday 19th November at 3pm, in which we will discuss two pieces of research on resource churches hosted by the Faith and the North and the Bede Centre for Church Planting Theology.
Northern Resource is a piece of research published through the Bede Centre for Church Planting Theology which explores the concept of “resource church” in the north of England, by theologically reflecting on four churches in Durham and Newcastle dioceses.
The research will be published in November 2025. Resourcing the Church is a report published in collaboration with Faith in the North and The Gregory Centre (CCX) outlining the progress of the resource church movement so far.
