RECOGNISE 2026

A national week of recognition for everyone involved in ministry with children, young people, and their families

RECOGNISE (6 -12 JULY 2026) IS returning this year and once again offers a fantastic opportunity to celebrate, thank, and acknowledge everyone involved in Children’s and Youth Ministry—both staff and volunteers.

Churches can now sign up to pre order a FREE pack. Each pack includes a cake topper, a prayer card, a set of thank you cards, and access to digital resources once they are released. Packs are limited, so sign up now!

Sunday 12 July 2026 is a day for churches nationwide to celebrate and thank those involved in this vital ministry.

Here at the 30k Project, we want to RECOGNISE all the hard work of those serving in CYPF Ministry. There are so many individuals giving tirelessly to nurture the faith of the emerging generations. Through this event, we hope to create a wave of appreciation and echo our heartfelt thanks across the Church.

If you would like to be involved, all you need to do is:

  • Within your normal church service on Sunday 12 July, create a time to ‘recognise’ those involved with CYPF Ministry in your church.
  • Post a recording of your ‘thanks’ on social media using the hashtag #RECOGNISE2026.
  • Keep checking back here for more resources and information nearer the time!

Is this for volunteers too? RECOGNISE is aimed at anyone who is involved in children’s and youth ministry in a church setting. This may be a paid employee or a volunteer; it is important that we recognise both.

What about volunteers who help in other areas? RECOGNISE is for people involved in children and youth ministry, but for volunteers helping in other areas we would encourage you to celebrate them during National Volunteers’ Week. Take a look here for other tips on how to support and thank volunteers.
