Engaging Gen Z in your church
Thursday 2 October 2025, 12pm
Explore how churches can inspire and support young people
GEN Z, THOSE RANGING IN age from the mid teens to their late 20s, were traditionally seen as the age cohort least likely to engage with the Christian faith and the life of the church. The ‘quiet revival’, however, has brought about an extraordinary reversal of this position. Members of Gen Z are now searching spiritually in unprecedented numbers and seeking an active faith in which they can play their part in changing the world.
This webinar, held in partnership with the College of Archbishops’ Evangelists, will examine in depth how churches can best engage members of Gen Z at each stage in their journey.
Hear from:
- Revd Tom Clark, former youth lead for HTB and now serving in the Church of England’s Vision and Strategy team, will explore how to mobilise your young people in mission, enabling them to draw other young people into faith.
- Luke Smith, National Team Leader of Fusion, will focus on how churches can best engage with students
- Revd Kath Garner, Associate Minister for Students and Young Adults at St Saviour’s Church, Guildford, will examine strategies for encouraging and enabling young adults in the early years of their careers to use their gifts to help energise, renew and grow your church.
- We will also examine some of the resources now available to churches wishing to engage with Gen Z and take time to answer your questions.
