“A good project for the area.” – Estates Churches: Baby Exchange Centre

Started by Chris after attending a leadership course run by his diocese, this Baby Exchange Centre at a church in York helps the local community

WORKING IN PARISHES ON THE edge of the Diocese of York, Stepping Up is a year-long programme of nurture and development for lay people from our Low-Income Communities, to grow in their own faith and discipleship and in confidence for mission. At the end, each person steps up in mission using their gifts and lived experience to share God’s love in their local community.

Chris started a Baby Exchange Centre, where parents can collect free clothing and items for their young children. This has now developed into a vital way for the church to help their local community.
