Christian holidays: where can you go?
There are many opportunities for people of all ages to get away
WE KNOW ABOUT THE BENEFITS of a holiday – but what about a Christian holiday?
Often our interactions in a church group setting are brief, so time away can help young people explore their faith in God at a deeper level while getting to know each other better and gaining some independence.
Lots of opportunities are available for groups of various ages – here are some of them:
- Spree South West (ages 8-17)
- Satellites (ages 11-17)
- Taizé – Young Adult Pilgrimage (ages 18-29; 15-17 can attend during school holidays)
- CPAS Venture and Falcon camps (ages 8-18)
- The Youth Pilgrimage at The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham (ages 11-18)
- Spring Harvest
- New Wine (all ages)
- LUMINOSITY – Christian Youth Festival from New Wine (ages 11-18)
- The Big Church Festival (all ages)
- Greenbelt
- Scripture Union holidays
- Maycamp (Years 6-13, plus 18-25s can join the Team Leaders)
- Nefyn Camps (ages 9-18)
