Stone, Staffordshire: Called to be Me: Exploring your Vocation (24th February)
Called to be Me is a guided quiet day designed to help you to discover and reflect on God’s unique call to you.  The day will include peaceful worship, introductory meditations and suggestions for individual reflection.  It will take place at Shallowford House, Stone, Staffordshire ST15 0NZ from 10am-4pm.  Please contact Angela Bruno for more information.

Witney, Oxfordshire: Exploring Vocations Group (21st February)
This group is designed for people early in the process of discerning their call. You do not need to have met with a vocations advisor or have any sense of where this process might take you.  This is the last in a series of evening events that will give you a chance to find out more, meet others exploring vocation and get support for the next step.  Led by Revd. London: Calling London: Women (3rd March)
Women have been integral to and influential leaders of the church for centuries. This event brings together opportunities to hear, meet and learn from senior women in the Diocese of London, including the Ven Liz Adekunle, Archdeacon of Hackney, as well as explore different issues around ministry through workshops. There will be space to think, pray and chat with others. Leominster: Vocations Day (10th March)
A day in Hereford Diocese for anyone considering God’s call on their life, led by Neil Patterson, Director of Vocations & Ordinands and John Daniels, Local Ministry Officer& Warden of Readers. To include: input on varieties of ministries, lay and ordained, and about training and discernment from Neil and John; discussion with new or training ministers of different sorts, including at least one featured on #A Vicar’s Life; time to reflect and pray. Leicester: Called? Annual Vocations Day 2018 (17th March)
This vocations day will focus on the wider vocational call for all Christians. Keynote speakers include Bishop Guli, Bishop of Loughborough, and Nick Sheppard, Programme Director for Setting God’s People Free. Poole: Who Me? Exploring God’s Call (17th March)
A day for people who wonder if God might be calling them to ministry in the Church of England. The event will take place at St Mary’s Longfleet Church Centre, Longfleet Rd, Poole, Dorset BH15 2JD. Please see here for further information.

Stoke D’Abernon, Surrey: It’s Your Call (17th March)

Truro: Vocations Day (17th March)
A Vocations day will take place at Truro Cathedral on Saturday the 17th of March 2018 from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The purpose of the day is not to focus solely on a vocation to ordained ministry, but to try and help people consider the many and varied ways in which God can call them to service. That might be as a priest, but it might equally be as a Reader or a teacher, a Local Worship Leader, or indeed in another career or voluntary activity that enables people to serve. York: Step Forward (17th March)
A day for anyone aged 18-30 considering ordained ministry in the Church of England, at Bishopthorpe Palace, York YO23 2GE.  For more information please visit the website.

Durham: Step Forward (24th March)

Guildford: PREACH! (9th-10th April)
A 2 day course for 16-25 year olds who want to explore the art and skill of preaching and explore their calling that will take place at St Nicholas’ Church, Bury St, Guildford GU2 4AW. Please see here for further information and to register your place.

Mirfield, West Yorkshire: Monastic Experience (2nd-5th July)
Are you wondering if you might be called to the religious life? Come and spend some time living in a monastic community, and looking at how the Rule of Saint Benedict provides instruction on balancing the various parts of life. Through sharing in CR’s worship and prayers, household and garden chores, studying scripture, attending addresses and discussions on the religious life, participants can experience this life from the inside, explore questions and embark on a journey of discernment.  Open to single men and women aged between 18 and 45. Stone, Staffordshire: Encourage Festival (7th July)
Encourage is a mini music and arts festival celebrating that we are all called to play our part in God’s kingdom in a whole variety of ways.  The day is all about enjoying the things that other people are passionate about and seeing why they feel called to do the things they do.  It’s taking place on Saturday 7th July at Shallowford House, ST15 0NZ.  Please see the website for further information.
