Martock, Wells: Vocations Brunch (2nd September)
Is God calling you to explore?  Join the Vocations Team, and others who have followed a call into Christian vocation, for brunch at 10am on 2 September at All Saints, Church Street, Martock TA12 6JL.  For more details and to book a place, please see here.

Liverpool: Calling all Wonder Women (16th September)
Liverpool Diocese is encouraging women to hear and respond to God’s call in their lives – wherever they are and whatever their background.  Join them for an opportunity to meet women just like you from across the Diocese to explore how you can use your “every day” skills or uncover skills you didn’t even know you had, to serve God.  The keynote speaker will be Rev Dr Kate Coleman, Director of Next Leadership and author of ‘The Seven Deadly Sins of Women in Leadership’.  The event takes place at All Saints Church, Broad Green Road, Liverpool L13 5SH.  Please see here for further information.

Tunbridge Wells: It’s Your Calling (16th September)
It’s Your Calling is aimed at those exploring where God may be calling, and looks at our journey and the gifts that God has given us, as well as the Biblical understanding of vocation. The day gives an opportunity to meet others on a similar quest and to take time to think where God could be calling.  Please see here for further information.

Devizes, Wiltshire: Who Me?  Exlporing God’s Call (23rd September)
A day for people who wonder if God might be calling them to ministry in the Church of England.  Whether Ordination, Licenced Lay Ministry, Pastoral Assistants, Worship Leaders or Pioneers, this is an opportunity to meet with others who think God might be calling them too, and to explore the next steps of your journey in faith.  Please see here for further information and to book a place.

Lichfield: Called to be Me: Exploring your Vocation (23rd September)
Called to be Me is a guided quiet day designed to help you to discover and reflect on God’s unique call to you.  The day will include peaceful worship, introductory meditations and suggestions for individual reflection.  It will take place at The Reeve Room, St Mary’s House, The Close, Lichfield WS13 7LD from 10am-4pm.  Please contact Angela Bruno for more information.

London: Anglican Monastic Taster Day (23rd September)
Could you be a Monk or Nun?  On Saturday 23rd September there will be an Anglican Monastic Taster Day at St John the Divine, 92 Vassall Road, Kennington, London SW9 6JA.  Please email to register your place.

Guildford: Your SHAPE for God’s Service (course) (from 23th September)
The SHAPE course 2017 offers an opportunity to explore with others God’s specific call on your life according to your unique God-given ‘SHAPE’.  The six two-hour Monday evening sessions will take place at Christ’s College, Larch Avenue, Guildford GU1 1JY.  Please see here for further information.

Witney, Oxfordshire: Exploring Vocations Group (27th September)
This group is designed for people early in the process of discerning their call. You do not need to have met with a vocations advisor or have any sense of where this process might take you.  This is the first of 5 evening events that will give you a chance to find out more, meet others exploring vocation and get support for the next step.  Led by Revd. Brighton: Know, Love, Follow (30th September)
A day of talks and workshops for people of all ages exploring their vocation in the Diocese of Chichester.  The key speaker will be the Bishop of Chichester Dr Martin Warner.  This free event will take place at St Peter’s Church. Luton: Seeking the Way (1) (30th September)
Seeking the Way consists of three Saturdays with plenty of time to think and reflect in between. You will need to be able to come to every session. Seeking the Way is a safe journey. It is provided by the diocese to offer you a safe place to seek the way forward for you. The event will take place at St Augustine Church, Luton LU3 2JR.  Please see here for further information and to book a place.

Plymouth: Exploring Vocation to Ministry (30th September)

Emscote, Warwick: Where do I fit in God’s story? (4th October)
This evening event is for all those interested in exploring their vocation and aims to enable participants to consider God’s calling within a wider understanding of vocation as well as discovering more of their own calling in mission and ministry.  It will take place from 7.30-9.30pm at All Saints Church, Emscote, Warwick CV34 5NL.  For more information and to book a place, please see here.

Hull: Called to Serve (7th October)
Called to Serve is a day to explore vocation and serving God.  There will be seminars, discussion and prayer.  This is a free event, open to all ages and includes a free lunch and refreshments when you register in advance.  The event will take place from 9.30am-4pm at Hull Minster, 10 King St, Hull HU1 2JJ.  Under 18s are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult.  Please see here for further information and contact Revd Jackie Doyle-Brett to book a place.

Norwich: LifeCalling (7th October)
LifeCalling is a day to help you discover what God is calling you to be and do at this stage of your life. Canterbury: Explore More (course) (from 10th October)
A short diocesan course for those discerning vocation. This is a series of six evenings exploring vocation in its widest context with the help of Biblical characters, tools for the journey, creative reflection and the opportunity to listen to the vocations stories of others.  The course will take place at Diocesan House, Lady Wootton’s Green, Canterbury CT1 1NQ.  Please contact Joss Walker 01227 459401 to find out more or to book a place.

Gloucester: Exploring Christian Vocations (14th October)

Exeter: 18-30s Vocations (In the Pub) (16th October)

Alfreton, Derbyshire: Come and See – Minority Ethnic Vocations Conference (27-29th October)

Cheltenham: Young Women: God’s Calling (18th November)
‘I’m too young! You can’t mean me!’ Have you had that feeling that God is calling you but you think it can’t be true? He doesn’t call people like you. Maybe it’s because you think you’re not clever enough or holy enough? Come and talk about it on the 18th November when we are holding a day for young women to come and explore your vocation. The event will take place from 9.30am-4pm at Holy Trinity Church, Trinity Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 2NX.  Bishop Rachel of Gloucester will be our key speaker and champion for the day.  For more information and to book a place, please see here.
