Use this prayer any time you wish over the summer, for yourself and all your colleagues, who will be meeting new people through Life Events all summer long.
Lord God,
be close to us as we meet those being married,
those beginning a faith journey in baptism,
and those who are grieving a loss.
May we witness to hope and joy
in our words and in our welcome,
as we share the good news of your love.
May we be re-created in these summer days
and renewed by your Spirit
for the ministry to which you have called us.
