2019 Funerals Conference - Circles of Impact
Join us on Friday June 7th and/or Saturday June 8th 2019 in Stoneleigh to tap in to the expertise and experience of a wide-range of practitioners. They’ll help us think about how churches are there for those who are affected by a death, whether recent or long ago. Death touches communities – family groups, friendship groups, colleagues, neighbours and strangers. The impact is not just for a week or two, but may continue over months, years, generations. Each day of the conference can be booked separately and the programme on each day will be different, so you can also book for two days, and arrange your own accommodation if you wish. All delegates will have time to visit the National Funeral Exhibition – a chance to engage with other professionals, explore new ideas around funeral practice and think how these changes might impact the church. Topics include: · Schools grieving · The impact of tragedy · Graveyards and grief · Death in rural communities · Communication, connection and presence Timings: Friday June 7th 10.00am – 4.00pm Saturday June 8th 9.30am – 3.30pm Cost: £60 (excluding VAT) per day, including lunch and all materials. Early booking price is £50 per person for day one, or £90 per person for both days if bookings are received before April 28th 2019. Bookings: Save money if you book early! Book here now. |
