Baptisms are now possible again, but it will take time to prepare for these events. To help you stay in touch with families, we’ll bring you advice, information and resources here.

1. INVITATION TO PLAN A CHRISTENING CARD

Use this free card to help you invite families who postponed a christening but are now ready to discuss baptising their child.

On July 7th 2020, this webinar was broadcast to help churches think about weddings and christenings again - much of the advice and resources are still relevant. Presented by the Head of Life events and Welcome, Canon Sandra Millar.

3. BLESS MY FAMILY POSTCARD (E-MAILABLE VERSION). DOWNLOAD IT HERE

These colourful postcards could be sent to parents and godparents whom you have got to know through baptisms, but can equally well be shared with grandparents, uncles or aunts in your parish. This card is designed to be used with all generations and could also be sent to families that attend Messy Church or a local church school.

PAID-FOR RESOURCES

You can still send a card to families on the anniversary of their child’s baptism. There are lots of card variations to choose from with contemporary and traditional designs and a choice of language which refers to ‘baptism’ or ‘christening’. Visit the Church Print Hub to see all the options.
